Google Bots Now ‘Crawling The Web’ from NYC?

This morning, I discovered an unusual stat while checking visitors to my web site: A Google Bot visiting from New York, New York! Of course, it has been rumored that Google might have great plans to house a massive data operations center in their new New York dig, and now, there might be some truth to that.
Why? I’ve been tracking stats for YEARS, and not ONCE have I noticed a ‘Google Crawler’ from New York until today (and they index my site quite frequently). They’ve always been from Mountain View, California — Home of the ‘Googleplex.’
So, this is an interesting development. Is Google now indexing the web from NYC?
